I was fortunate to have hip replacement surgery with Dr. Frisch who happened to be on ED duty the day I fell and broke my hip. His personable manner put me at ease, and the surgery was scheduled immediately. It-s been 6 weeks and I"ve not suffered a day of pain since the surgery. I’ve been putting off my knee replacement for months. Covid delayed the surgery too. Dr. Frisch was so patient with me, waiting for me to go ahead with the knee replacement. On 04/14/23, I finally went for it. I couldn’t believe how good I felt by the afternoon. I was discharged the next day( with a Walker) and kept feeling better. Dr. Frisch made sure they sent home with me an ice therapy machine and meds. I did not have to stop to pick up anything!
Any questions regarding my recovery, I would call and either Dr. Frisch would respond or [his staff] would respond. Actually, all the staff members in the medical office were very helpful and friendly.

I had a total knee replacement surgery on 1/5/2021 Dr. Frisch is so attentive to his patients. He cares if you’re experiencing pain and will make sure to manage it immediately. He is thorough, and is willing to discuss anything with you without making you feel rushed. During my pre-op appointments when I was asked who my Dr was and I said Frisch, every single person said you’re in great hands! I will update my review in a few months after healing, but before my surgery I couldn’t get my leg fully straight and I am less than a week post op and my leg is already fully straight. My experience with Dr. Frisch is fantastic. I had a shoulder replacement on May 27, 2023. Dr. Frisch to me is a Dr. that cares for his patients, he is a doctor that gives a listening ear, He doesn't rush you or give you the feeling that you are taking up his time. The surgery that I had went very well. Two weeks after the surgery and I went for therapy my therapist couldn't believe that I had just had the surgery just two weeks before. My shoulder healed very quickly and the motions were so good in my arm. I was able to move it in all different moves. If I every have to have any other joint surgeries, Dr. Frisch will be the one I will always return To. I will highly recommend him to anyone that is the the need of his expertise.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Frisch’s since 2022 when I broke my collarbone. At the time I broke it, I had no insurance and was no longer able to work because of my injury. The kind folks at Amita Saint Mary’s helped me sign up for Medicaid and got me connected with Dr. Frisch’s office where I’ve received the most compassionate and comprehensive care ever since! They ALWAYS have a full waiting room but I never feel rushed or tense energy at my appointments. They always make me feel like I am heard as a patient and involved in the decision making process regarding my care. All surgeries have gone off without a hitch and I’m back to regular life thanks to Dr. Frisch, his PA, and all the awesome folks at his clinic.

Dr.Frisch is an excellent, dedicated orthopedic surgeon. He did a wonderful total hip replacement for me, it's six weeks later, and after an overnight hospital stay, and some great outpatient therapy, I am up and around, better than ever. From the very beginning I knew I was in good hands. Dr. Frisch and his PA, took such great care to explain all of my options beyond just surgical to treat the damage in my shoulder. I eventually felt comfortable making the decision to have the surgery needed to correct my torn labrum, torn rotator cuff, and for him to perform the bicep tenodesis procedure I needed. Dr. Frisch and his PA took their time to make sure all of my questions about the procedure and recovery were answered, and did so with compassion and just the right amount of humor to ease my concerns. The surgery was a complete success. He even took the time to listen to my concerns about a memorial tattoo I have on my shoulder commemorating my family members who have passed, and was thoughtful to avoid damaging my artwork. The scarring is barely visible, and I believe in time, will not be visible at all. I am now 14 weeks out from my surgery and have full range of motion and am on the road to building back my strength. I could not be happier with the service, care, and skill provided by Dr. Frisch! I would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone needing orthopedic surgery. Thank you, Dr. Frisch!

After my husband had seen 3 different ortho drs. …Dr Frisch was the only one who came up with a solution to his inability to bend his knee. The replacement was scheduled and he was home the next day and started his therapy 2 days later. It was an unusual problem but…he solved the issue!

My mother and myself absolutely adore Dr Frisch! He is very understanding, compassionate and knowledgeable!! He replaced my mothers knee and made sure she was well taken care of, explaining everything that was going to happen including the after care, he made sure her physical therapy appointments were booked even before her surgery happened just so she didn’t have to worry about booking them. He is very attentive. My mother’s first language is not English however Dr Frisch seems to understand everything she says in Spanish this makes her feel very comfortable and most importantly she doesn’t feel ignored.

I just wanted to say one thing about the good doctor Nicholas Frisch. First of all when I got denied surgery from other doctors he said that my situation could be helped. So he did surgery on my right shoulder in 2017 maybe it was 16 doesn't matter ever since then my shoulder has just gotten better and better. As a matter of fact I wiped out on my motorcycle my right arm take the blunt of it and my shoulder stayed intact. I was amazed thank you doctor

I'm been going to Dr frish for a few years. He's an awesome doctor. cares about his patients. Given that I have a prosthetic leg. he made it a point to make sure I was comfortable with everything before and after my knee surgery.I had a full knee replacement two and a half months ago. He was very informative and very positive. he made sure that I was able to get into rehab so when I get home I would be able to get around after surgery. I ran into him in the hallway during my rehab and he stop to ask me how I was feeling and how everything was going. I definitely recommend him. I had severe arthritis of both hips in 2017 that was excruciating and unbearable. On my first encounter with Dr. Frisch, I saw in him a man filled with utmost compassion and a desire to help. Going by his schedule, he could only accommodate a one-month appointment for my surgery which in the circumstance looked like eternity. I left the hospital that day completely downcast!! Incidentally and surprisingly, the following morning I received a call from his office that I had been scheduled for the following week. Empathy!
Both hip replacements were done six (6) weeks apart and very successful with no complications. I was able to walk without support and gladly pain free.
Five years and still counting, Dr. Frisch graciously responds to all my concerns about the surgery and advises appropriately. What else can I say but a BIG THANKS to the exceptional, professional and kind Dr. Frisch.

I feel truly blessed to have had my surgery done by Dr. Frisch. Dr. Frisch is one of those doctors who is so good you know that he was born to be a doctor. He is caring and compassionate. He makes sure you he provides you with the care and support you need post surgery. I needed double knee surgery. I could not walk up stairs or short distances and I had to use a wheel chair when going to the store. He did my first surgery (right knee) on February, 15, 2022. He was amazingly compassionate when he came to check on me after. I was walking with a walker before I left the hospital. By March 3, I was walking with a cane. After 3 months, I was able to walk up stairs and run a little..Of course I was still having a lot of problems with my left knee. I had my left knee done August 16, 2022. Dr. Frisch was there to greet me before surgery and there to check on me after. I am already walking without a cane for short distances. I am a 71 year old female.

I met Doctor Frisch yesterday because of a torn supraspinatus tendon and a labral tear in my right shoulder. He took time to explain my options, he treated me with respect. I have a long history with Dr. Frisch. He inherited me in 2014 from another doctor who made an error on my first knee surgery. Dr. Frisch and his office treated me like family and saw me through several more procedures to correct the issue. I honestly never thought I'd be able to walk "normally" again. It's been a few years and, not only do I walk, but I can play and dance with my five old daughter; an extraordinary gift.
