Professional Background
Dr. Nicholas Frisch is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in advanced hip and knee replacement. Practicing in the Chicago area since 2014, he has built a reputation for excellence in joint care and patient outcomes. In 2025, Dr. Frisch joined Endeavor Health, where he continues to provide leading-edge orthopedic care for patients across the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago. With expertise in robotic-assisted and minimally invasive joint replacement, he is dedicated to restoring mobility, reducing pain, and helping patients return to the activities they love.

Training & Education
Dr. Frisch grew up in rural Ohio, inspired by the work ethic of his father, a factory worker, and the compassion of his mother, an emergency department nurse. He attended Miami University in Oxford, OH, followed by medical school at the Medical College of Ohio. He then completed a five-year orthopedic surgery residency at the Cleveland Clinic, where he trained in both fundamental and advanced techniques in orthopedic care. After residency, Dr. Frisch completed an additional fellowship in sports medicine in San Francisco, further shaping his approach to joint replacement surgery. He continues to apply the sports medicine mindset to joint replacement, with a focus on helping patients stay active and return to the sports and activities they love.

Personal Life
Outside of medicine, Dr. Frisch is deeply committed to his family. He and his wife, Laura—who grew up in Wheaton—are raising their two daughters in Chicago, a city they both consider the best in the world. Together, they enjoy live music, golf, and international travel, and hope to share every corner of the globe with their children. Dr. Frisch loves building genuine connections with his patients and often enjoys exchanging stories about family and travel during visits.
